Domestic Violence Reporting
According to the Domestic Violence Hotline, domestic violence affects one in four women. Heather first witnessed domestic violence as a crime reporter, where she wrote articles about domestic assault cases and court trials for men charged with abuse and assault-related charges.
Heather continues to report on intimate partner violence. Heather’s thesis was on traumatic brain injuries in women as a result of domestic violence, including the problems with researching it.
